Respected/ importers of pasteurized eggs
Asharqia Chamber presents its best greetings to you, and informs you of receiving the letter of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (60417 / GS), dated 13/10/1439, which is referring to the laboratory tests conducted by the Authority on products of animal origin imported to Saudi Arabia.
It has demonstrated the contamination of the pasteurized egg product "Omelet" from the PEP-SAS facility (ZI DU CHATEAU -13 RUE DENIS PAPIN-F62220 CARVIN) and the product of the "pasteurized liquid" yolk egg from the LIOT S.A.S facility (7 AVENUE VICTOR HUGO B.P 40008- 86450 PLEUMARTIN) from the French Republic with insecticide (Fipronil).
The Authority's decision is to suspend the importation of table eggs and its products from PEP-SAS and LIOT S.A.S from the Republic of France resulted from the contamination of their products with the pesticide (Fipronil).
